My work is shown regularly at galleries on the Eastern Shore and, during the winter months, in Florida.
It was jobs that brought my husband and me to this area a number of years ago. We both worked at the Eastern Shore Hospital Center until I became the Administrator of the Caroline County Mental Health Center.
Upon retirement, I went back to the watercolor art that I loved over the years. Now I work in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic and mixed media. I'm experimenting with encaustic, a centuries-old process that requires heating a mixture of beeswax, damar resin and pigment, then applying it to a variety of surfaces from paper to plywood.
