Susan Dickinson is an oil painter. Her technique is pointillism, a method of painting that uses distinct dots of color to form images. Her genre is joyful Surrealism, filled with light and displaying bright and clear colors.
The love of nature formed her earliest memories so it is only fitting that her paintings reflect this. Susan has painted and drawn since she was old enough to hold a brush or a crayon. At the age of 16, she took her first lesson and won her firs "Best in Show." Later she studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art.
She lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her husband, three dogs and three cats.
